For many of our clients, CAMP is more than just a service—it’s a lifeline. With cost as the primary barrier to veterinary care, we provide a path forward for families who would otherwise have no options.
Izzie is a 14-year-old Chihuahua whose guardian brought her to CAMP for euthanasia. Izzie was in severe pain, and private veterinary care was financially out of reach. But instead of saying goodbye, our vet team ran tests and discovered a large but treatable bladder stone. Thanks to CAMP’s low-cost services—made possible by generous supporters—Izzie received surgery and pain medication. Just two weeks later, she was full of life again, and her guardian was overwhelmed with gratitude for the chance to keep her beloved companion and very best friend by her side.
